BMP 1 Coordinate Development, implement and enforce a program to detect and eliminate illicit discharges.
BMP 2 Develop a storm sewer system map, showing the location of all outfalls and HSTSs connected to the MS4 and the surface waters that receive discharges from those outfalls.
BMP 3 Submit list of all on-site sewage disposal systems (HSTSs) connected to your MS4.
BMP 4 Develop and implement a plan to detect and eliminate no-storm water discharges, including illegal dumping, to your system.
BMP 5 Inform public of hazards associated with illegal discharges on the storm water system.
BMP 6 Address the non-storm water discharges identified as significant pollutant contributors to the MS4.
BMP 7 Develop list of other non-storm water discharges that will not be addressed as illicit discharges.
